Hi, I am Laura, the founder of Simplified! I have a B.S. in Health Science with a concentration in Health Promotion and Education from Clemson University. My passion for health and wellness started at a young age—my mom, a certified nutritionist, always emphasized balance and moderation. She taught me that there are no "bad" foods, just smart choices and a sustainable approach to eating.
After earning my degree, I worked as a personal trainer, helping people build strength and confidence. But I quickly realized that nutrition is just as important as exercise when it comes to feeling your best. That’s why I started Nutrition-Simplified!—to help busy individuals like you learn the basics of healthy eating without the stress. In 2025, I completed my Nutrition Coach Certification, further deepening my knowledge and ability to guide others.
As a wife and mom of three, with kids in multiple sports, I understand how hectic life can be. I know firsthand how challenging it is to prioritize health when you're constantly on the go. But I also know that small, simple changes can make a big impact.
My goal is to educate, empower, and simplify nutrition so you can feel your best—without the overwhelm. I will also provide you with loads of encouragement, positivity and mindset work. I am so glad you’re here, and I can’t wait to help you on your journey!
